During the 16th IFCC-FESCC European Congress of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, Dr. Ian Watson, Liverpool (UK), organized a Symposium on Drug Investigation on the behalf of IATDMCT. Prof. Michael Oellerich, Göttingen (Germany) spoke on The Role of TDM in Immunosuppressant Therapy, Prof. David Back, Liverpool, on TDM of Antiviral Drugs, Prof. Hans H. Maurer, Homburg/Saar (Germany), on Toxicokinetics of Drugs of Abuse and Dr. Pascal Kintz, Strasbourg (France), on Hair Analysis for Drugs of Abuse Detection. Many participants visited this early-morning symposium and took the chance for fruitful discussion of the presentations.
