Criteria
The Young Scientist membership rate is for persons younger than 31 years and/or for student working for a Masters degree, a Doctorate, or comparable degree. Please enclose a letter of support from the Head of your Department. If the birth date is not provided, the rate is not applicable.
Members who are 31 to 40 years may belong to the Young Scientists Group, but are not eligible for the discount (except for students as stated above). Enter your birth date on the application/renewal form. From the 1st January 2008, members 40 years or younger can belong to the Young Scientists by highlighting it as an interest in their personal profile on the members only section of the website.
